Favre allegations

Well I do not think this is going to be as long as I originally wanted to make it to be, but I am going to try to make it meaningful. By now people in the sports world know all about the supposed allegations regarding Brett Favre sending lewd photos and racy texts messages to New York Jets game hostess two years ago. I say allegations because let’s get real people. First, as great Brett Favre is how lewd and how racy can Grandpa Brett get? I mean really? Come on now? This is just a possible attempt to try to get money from Brett Favre (I say possible, because the woman in question has not officially met with authorities or from anyone in the NFL). This could just be a possible ploy from Blackspin to get publicity for their own company. Favre is a man of integrity and character in the NFL. I say let’s wait to see how things play out. But I mean really? Can you imagine a lewd Favre? I cant. And I don't say it because I am a Favre fan. Is there a possiblity Favre got caught up,thinking because he is Brett Favre he would get away with it? Possibly. But since the person who the allegations are coming from has yet to met with officials, that alone gives me serious doubts. My point is, love or hate Favre, give him the benefit of the doubt. Innocent until proven guilty.

MSU Vs UM game plus UM predictions

As Dr. J promised here are some of his thoughts on the game. Ill try to make it short, but still get the point across.
Michigan fans knew there was going to be a struggle on the defense side. We have had struggle all year, and with MSU being our hardest test yet, it was no surprise that we continued our struggles against them. We were able to stop them, sometimes in very important situations on a few times. Yet with the obvious defense struggles Michigan has, and which makes me call a question to the job which Greg Robinson, their defense coordinator poses, I do not know if we were expecting to see such a struggle on the offense. It would be foolish to think it was going to be some time of cake walk game, but with the being said, I think everyone would have expected more out of the Heisman hopeful. Not only did he not have a very big day rushing the ball, which in the first five games he accumulated over 900 rushing yards, but he also threw three interceptions, two of them being in the end zone. Michigan State was definitely the better team, but Michigan shot themselves in the foot and gave up some very big opportunities, which could of arguable helped Michigan win the game.

So what to look for this season. Well despite the offense did not look like it’s usual self, I still expect some big things about them. It was an off day, but the Michigan offense just needs to get back to what they were doing. I expect them to still play with a dominating force. The problem is going to be with their defense and there special teams. Michigan still has some pretty tough teams a head of them and if they do not start to make some much needed improvements on their defense, they are going to lose quite a few more games. We can’t stop the run or pass and there are going to be a lot of teams who are going to take major advantage of that. Also their special teams need to be able to make improvement. If they can not make field goals, they may ended up losing out on what should be in the bank points. I predict though Michigan will end up with a 8-4 or 9-3 record.

As always I love to get feedback on this, whether you agree or disagree. I also love to hear ideas for future blogs. Whether sports, politics, life, whatever.
