With the Michigan Wolverines we can at least look forward going to a bowl game at the end of this season. No it probably will not be as big as what we were expecting to, but after a few years of not going to one period, I think it is going to be a very nice present for all of us Michigan fans to know we can still play another game after OSU. Let’s look at The Wolverines who after beating Purdue is now 7-3.
The offense struggled a little bit against Purdue but it still shows its continual improvement. Michigan fans had to wait a long time to finally see an improvement on the offense and this was the season it has come. It finally has the right pieces it needs in order to have success and its only going to continue to have improvements.
Special teams have been a horror. We need to get someone else who can actually kick the ball. There is no excuse for the shabby way the kid is playing other the fact he could never play in the first place. Once we get another kicker, we are only going to be so much stronger then we already are.
Defense at many woes this season and it is going to continue against Wisconsin and OSU. Still, with nine starting freshmen you have to expect they are going to have some plunders. I don’t care who your head coach is, nine freshmen is just going to be hard to work with. But they have been making improvements and they are going to be so much better next season with all the experience they had this season.
It is hard to be realistic in saying we will win against Wisconsin and OSU. I think we could possibly upset either one or both, but it is only a possibility and an upset is an appropriate term to use. If they win one of those games they will at least get the 8-4 record I predicted at the beginning of the season. If not, we will still have at least a winning season and go to the bowl game and come back next season with an even stronger Michigan Team. We still may have to look down the road a little bit, but after this season, we are only going to continue to see improvements.

MidSummer Night's Dream (SAU) Review
Dr. J will be honest and make a confession. Theatre and plays are usually not his fancy. But every now and then he views brilliant performances, which must recognition. One of such plays is Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, performed by some of the talented drama cast of Spring Arbor University. I am not gong to drone on and on about the plot which some of you maybe aware, or if you are not, there is the lovely source known as the internet which will quickly be able to bring you up to speed. Having read this play a number of years ago, I did go into it with some certain expectations. Not only were they surpassed, but there seemed to be a masterful grasp and performance of what can be a rather difficult work to master. There was humor, suspense, romance, action! There was not a dull moment in the play save maybe for those who struggled to understand a language which Shakespeare decided he was going to make up. It was presented in such a way though, where one could always understand what was on. Putting it in a 50’s theme modernized it in such a way where it became much more comprehensible those in audience. All the actors did a superb job. Not only with their acting, but again, in remembering what can be quite a difficult play to memorize. It was simple stage setting, but with the action continuously moving about, one felt more drawn in as if they were actually up close and person. The costumes were good, with special applauds to finding a donkey head for Bottoms transformation. One of the things I was most curious to see was extremely well done. Of course, while I salute and give my accolades to all those who were involved with the play, a special tip of the hat to my old friend Trevor Tracy. An extremely talented actor who never ceases to impress me and without whom I would not have went to the play in the first place. Well-done cast. Bravo!
